Video Editor System Project in Java using JSP and Servlet. It is designed for both third-year and final-year students for college projects and is available with source code.
Video Editor System Project in Java
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for updating and maintaining the overall system, Adding/Removing/Updating different editing tools, effects, file formats, managing users, etc. Admin can configure the quality, bit rate, format, etc of the Video. In contrast, users can log in and edit the Video.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Video Editor System Abstract
A Video Editor is a software application that effectively manages and handles all the functioning of a video editor. A Video Editor is a software application that allows the editing of video files. It allows you to edit a video and process files quickly and efficiently.
For this, Codebun has developed a Video Editor System that has two main roles i.e. Admin & User. Admin being the primary user, can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system. Admin can Add/Remove/Update different editing tools. Admin can configure the quality, format, etc of the Video. Admin can Add/Remove/Update different editing tools and formats.
On the other hand, users will be able to use the Video Editor. Upon accessing the Video Editor, the User will have to upload the original file, choose the desired tools, effects, and edit the video, and download the output file. Users can also manage all the edited Videos into folders and templates.
The following are the primary objectives of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main aim is to build a secured, robust Video Editor System.
- Maintain various Video tools.
Modules of Video Editor System
Admin Module- In this module, Admin can manage all the operations related to the system.
User Module- Users can log in/log out of the system and manage their account profile. Users can access the Video Editor.
Edit Module- In this module, Users will be able to edit Video files.
Upload Module- All the Video file uploading-related operations can be managed in this module.
Download Module- All the Video file downloading-related operations can be managed in this module.
Video Repository- Users can manage and save their Videos in the repository.

- Users can log in/log out of the system.
- Users can edit files using the Video Editor.
- Users can upload/download Videos.
- Users can maintain a Video repository.
- Users can change passwords.
- Users can manage “My Profile.”
