Electronic Repair Service Center Project in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MYSQL. It is designed for both third-year and final-year students for their college projects and is available with source code.

Electronic Repair Service Center Overview

It is a multi-role application project involving Admin and User, where Admin will have overall control over the system.

The purpose of this web application was to manage an Electronic Repair Service Center. Admin has responsibility for adding service center details, charges, view bills, etc. The user will view and book the services online at the service center.

The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.

Electronic Repair Service Center Project Abstract

Electronic repair centers provide services for repairing any household electronic items. Booking these services online will save time in traveling in search of repairing any defective electronics.

So, Codebun has developed an Electronic Repair Service Center project where users can book services for repair. Here, we have majorly two primary roles in the application. One is the admin, who manages the entire application – adding service centers, a list of services provided, charges, etc.

On the other hand, Users can book the service center using the application. Users can search for the service center and request the pick-up of the items. Users can make payments online for the service provided.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application to the Admin as well as the User.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Electronic Repair Service Center Project where the Electronic Repair Service Center is managed properly.
  3. It maintains the record of Users, Electronic Repair service center, and detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.

Modules of Electronic Repair Service Center System

Admin Module: This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can Add/Remove/Update service center details, manage service center, can manage Users, payments, billings, etc. Admin can manage staff and their details. Admin can assign each staff members its daily task.

User Module: In this module, the User can register on the portal. Once registered, the User can log in/log out of the system. Users can manage their account & profile details.

Search Module: Users can search for the Electronic Repair service centers, and can find detailed information on the system after logging in.

Booking Module: Users can Request/Cancel pick up. Users can add information about pick-up locations & mention issues they are facing with electronic items.

Details of User: This module allows you to manage detail like a user’s name, contact number, billing information, and booking history.

Billing Module: This module is responsible for managing all billing-related functions.

Payment Module: All the operations related to payments can be managed in this module.

User Roles of Electronic Repair Service Center System

There are two main users of this application.

1) Admin 

  • Admin can Log in/Log out of the system.
  • Admin can manage Users.
  • Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Service Center & its details.
  • Admin can VIEW Pick up details.
  • Can VIEW bill reports.
  • Can manage payments.
  • Admin can VIEW feedback.
  • Admin can manage “My Profile”.
  • Admin can change password.

2) User

  • Can Log in/Log out of the system.
  • Users can SEARCH/VIEW Electronic Repair service centers.
  • Users can request a pickup.
  • Can make payments online.
  • Users can VIEW all payment history.
  • Users can give feedback also on the service.
  • Can manage “My Profile”.
  • Can change password.
