The Fair Ticket Booking system is in spring boot and hibernate for the students who are pursuing degrees in the IT field, and is available along with the source code.
Fair Ticket Booking System Overview
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for keeping a check on the booking of tickets, updating/adding Fairs, and management of the system. On the other hand, users can register, log in using the login credentials, view and book the ticket for particular Fairs, view ticket prices of the Fairs, etc.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Fair Ticket Booking System Abstract
Digitalization has led the world towards much more convenient ways of doing things. Be it online shopping, booking, selling, buying, etc. Everyone always opts for labor-saving methods of doing things.
Codebun has designed a Fair Ticket Booking project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two primary roles, i.e., Admin and User. Admin is the primary user who can add/remove/update any details related to the system, update prices of the Fair tickets, View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders by users, and so on. Admin can manage registered users, keep the records of users, etc. Admin can Add/Remove/Update Fairs in the system.
Users can register and then book the tickets for the Fair, make payments, etc. Users can find detailed information about the Fair on the system after logging in.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Fair Ticket Booking System.
- It maintains the record of Fairs, Users, Payments, Bookings & history, etc.
Modules of Fair Ticket Booking System
Admin Module- This module will allow the admin to log in and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, manage Fairs, check payments, etc.
User Module- In this module, users can register using their name, contact number, and address and manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number. Users can view/track their booked tickets, payment status, history, etc.
Booking Module- In this module, Users can book the tickets for the Fairs. Users can see the details of the current and upcoming fairs.
Payment Module- In this module, Users can make payments.
Availability- In this module, the admin can check whether the tickets for a particular Fair are available or not.
Details of User-In this module, the admin will manage User details like a Name, Contact Number, Fair details, and booking history.
User Roles of Fair Ticket Booking System
Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can Log in/ Logout of the system.
- Admin can manage fair details in the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders placed by the Users.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can manage and check the availability of tickets for the Fairs.
- Can change prices of tickets for Fairs.
- Can manage “My Profiles.”
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile.”
- Can search for Fair.
- Users can book/cancel tickets.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
