Home Interior System in spring boot and hibernate. This project is designed for both third-year and final-year students and is available with source code.
Home Interior System Overview
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the bookings, status of projects undertaken, and management of the system. On the other hand, users can register, log in using the login credentials, and do bookings online.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Home Interior System Abstract
Interior designers help to effectively utilize the space in the home making the best use of the available space. They make your home aesthetically pleasing and attractive. Home Interiors designs not only add a glamorous look to the house but also make your home spacious. Nowadays, one can easily book design plans and appointments with interior designers online.
Codebun has designed a Home Interior project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system, update charges of the design plans available, View/Confirm/Cancel bookings done by users, View/Confirm/Cancel meetings with the users, and so on. Admin can keep the records of the Users.
Users can register, book a meeting with interior designers, book interior design plans for their homes, and make payments online. Users can find detailed information about home interior design plans on the system after logging in. Users can not only choose from the available design plans but also can choose to personalize them.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Home Interior System.
- It maintains the record of home interior plans/designs, Users, Payments, Bookings & history, etc.
Modules in Home Interior Project
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, manage interior designers and their availability, View/Confirm/Cancel meetings scheduled with users, can manage users, can check payments, can check the status of projects undertaken, etc.
User Module– The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number. Users can manage their profiles with the help of this module.
Registration: This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, and Mail IDs, and set passwords.
Category- In this module, Admin can categorize Home Interior design plans.
Payment Module- In this module, Users can make payments for the services provided.
Booking Module: Users can book home interior design plans in this module. Users can also book a meeting with designers to discuss the design plans and other details.
Details of User: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, Address, Order history, and payments can be managed by Admin in this module.
User Roles of Home Interior Project

Admin:
- Can Log in/Log out of the system.
- Admin can View/Edit/Delete design plans into the system.
- Can View/Edit/Delete categories into the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel booking done by the User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can change prices of design plans available.
- Can manage users.
- Can manage interior designers.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for a design plan from a specific category.
- Users can do the booking.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
