Online Bicycle Store System in Java using JSP and Servlet with Source Code. This project is designed to automate the process of a Bicycle Store thereby, easing the process of managing and keeping records of every detail related to the store. Right from bicycles of different brands, models, payments, etc can be managed in this project.
Online Bicycle Store System in Java
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the availability of Bicycles, updating any details related to the Bicycle Store, managing payments, etc. On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can log in to the system to shop and make payments online.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Online Bicycle Store System Abstract
In this digital era, one will always opt for online shopping as it is the most feasible option that saves time and helps you make the right choices. There are thousands of brand options available for a Bicycle.
This Online Bicycle Store System will allow a user to find Bicycles with their brand names, book a Bicycle online, make payments online and get it home delivered.
Codebun has designed an Online Bicycle Store project in java, which has two main roles i.e Admin and User. Admin being the primary user. Admin can categorize the Bicycles according to their brands, models, and types, add/remove/update any Bicycle/Bicycle details, edit prices of the Bicycles, view/confirm/cancel orders placed by users, accept payments online, and so on.
Admin can keep records of the Users. Users can add a Bicycle of their choice to the cart, make payments online and get it delivered to the doorstep.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Bicycle Store System.
- It maintains the record of Bicycles, Users, Payments, Purchase history, etc.
Modules in Online Bicycle Store System
Admin Login/Logout– This module will allow Admin to log in and log out of the system and manage the system and its functions.
User Registration/Login/Logout–This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, Mail IDs, and set passwords. Then a user can log in to the system using the registered name and password. Also, Users can log out of the system.
Category: In this module, Bicycles can be categorized by Admin according to their brand’s names, price range, models, colors, types of bicycle like a mountain bike, fixed gear, road bike, folding bike, etc.
Name: This module will allow the Admin and Users to check the Bicycle name.
Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether the particular Bicycle from a specific category is available in stock or not.
User Module: This module will allow the user to manage all the operations related to the user like user name, contact details, purchase and payment history, etc.
Sold Quantity: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of Bicycles sold.
Users Roles
Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Admin can view/edit/delete Bicycles into the system.
- Can view/edit/delete Bicycle Category into the system.
- Admin can view/confirm/cancel orders placed by User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can change prices of Bicycles.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Bicycle from specific Category.
- Can search for specific Bicycles using their brand names, models, etc.
- Users can place/cancel an order.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
