Online Car Recommendation System in Java using JSP and Servlet with Source Code project is designed for the students who are pursuing their degree in the IT field. This project helps in finding the customer a suitable car for themselves. Right from different brands of cars, model numbers, features, price ranges, etc can be managed in this project.
Online Car Recommendation System In Java
It is a double-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system, managing car categories, updating any details related to cars, etc. On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can log in to the system, and lookout for the best cars for themselves from the several categories available.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Online Car Recommendation System Abstract
The market is flooded with different brands of cars. In this digital era, one will opt for online shopping as it is the most feasible option that saves time and helps you make the right choices. There are millions of options available for buying a car and finding the best one suitable can be a challenge in itself.
This Online Car Recommendation System will allow a user to find the car with their brand names and model numbers, price range, fuel types, etc.
Codebun has designed an Online Recommendation Car project in java, which has two main roles i.e Admin and User. Admin being the primary user. Admin can categorize the Cars according to their brands and model numbers, add/remove/update any car/car details, edit prices of the cars, and so on. Admin can keep all the records of the Users.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Car Recommendation System.
- It maintains the record of Cars, Brands, Users, etc.
Modules in Online Car Recommendation System
Admin Login/Logout– This module will allow Admin to log in and log out of the system and manage the system and its functions.
User Registration/Login/Logout–This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, Mail IDs, and set passwords. Then a user can log in to the system using the registered name and password. Also, Users can log out of the system.
Category: In this module, Cars can be categorized by Admin according to their brand’s names, price range, models, mileage, fuel types, Car launch year, etc.
Name: This module will allow the Admin and Users to check the Car name.
User Module: This module will allow the user to manage all the operations related to the user like user name, contact details, etc.
Users Roles
Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Admin can view/edit/delete Cars into the system.
- Can view/edit/delete Car Category into the system.
- Can change prices of Cars.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Car Categories.
- Can search for specific Cars using their brand names, models, etc.
- Can change password.
