Online Flower Shop System designed in Spring Boot and Hibernate along with the source code for the students who are pursuing degrees in the IT field. This project is designed to automate the process of a Flower Shop thereby, easing the process of managing it and keeping records of every single detail related to the shop.
This project is designed for both third-year and final-year students and is available with source code.
Online Flower Shop System Overview
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system. Admin is the leading role that will handle the overall application. It has multiple modules like Categories of Flowers, Price of Flowers, Details of Buyers, etc. And users can register and do flower shopping online.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Online Flower Shop System Abstract
To help run a business smoothly having an online system is a must. One such business is owning a Flower Shop. With the help of this project, one would be able to manage a Flower Shop without facing any issues of maintaining records of a Shop manually.
So, for this, we on Codebun have developed Flower Shop System Project in spring boot and hibernate to help the Admin to monitor Online Flower Shop by managing them from a single place. Admin can update, add or remove any details related to Flowers. Admin can check the availability of a particular Flower and also, can maintain the records of purchases made along with date and time.
On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can log in to the system to do online shopping and make payments online.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the admin.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Flower Shop System.
- It maintains the record of purchases, availability of flowers s, and so on.
Modules of Online Flower Shop System
Admin Module– This module will allow Admin to log in and log out of the system and manage the system and its functions.
User Module: This module will allow the user to manage all the operations related to the user like user name, contact details, purchase and payment history, etc.
Registration–This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, and addresses, and set passwords. Then a user can log in/ log out to the system using the registered name and password.
Category: In this module, Flowers can be categorized by Admin accordingly.
Order: This module will allow the user to purchase the Flowers.
Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether the particular Flower from a specific category is available in stock or not.
Sales: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of Flowers sold.
Payment Module: In this module, all the payment-related details can be managed.

Admin:
- Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
- Admin can View/Edit/Delete flowers s into the system.
- Can View/Edit/Delete Flower s Category into the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel orders placed by User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can change prices of Flowers.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
User:
- Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Flowers.
- Users can Place/Cancel an order.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
