Toll Pass Booking System in spring boot and hibernate with source code is in Java using JSP and Servlet with Source Code. This project is designed and available with source code for 2nd/3rd/final year IT students for college projects.
Toll Pass Booking System Project in Java
It is a multi-role application project 1) Admin 2) User.
It involves Admin as the primary user, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for managing users, keeping in check the bookings, registered users, vehicles & their details, and overall management of the system. On the other hand, users can register, log in using the login credentials, book the toll pass in real-time or in advance, view booking charges and rates, plans, etc.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Toll Pass Booking System Abstract
The toll pass booking system makes it easier for you to book toll passes beforehand. It allows making payments online, keeps records of every booking done, and also transitions. It eliminates the lengthy process of waiting in line at the toll gates to get the toll passes.
To make the process of toll gate management easier, Codebun has designed a Toll Pass Booking System in java using JSP and Servlet, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin being the primary user, can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system.
Admin can manage toll pass bookings, maintain vehicle counts and details, issue toll passes, update charges for the toll pass, View/Confirm/Cancel advance booking, manage payments, and so on. Admin can manage and keep the records of the Users, Vehicle details, etc.
Users can register and then book the toll passes, make payments, etc. Users cannot pass the toll gates without passes.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Toll Pass Booking System.
- It maintains the record of Users, Vehicle details, Payments, Bookings & history, etc.
Modules in Toll Pass Booking System
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, issue toll pass, manage toll gates s & their details, payments, users, etc.
Admin can keep in check all the Vehicles entering or exiting the toll gates with timing and other details.
User Module– In this module, a user can register first using their name, contact number, and vehicle details, and also, can manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number. Users can view their bookings, payment status, history, etc.
Booking Module- In this module, Users can do the booking for toll passes in advance. After successful booking, the User will be issued a toll pass ticket.
Payment Module- In this module, Users can make payments for the bookings.
Vehicle Details- All the information regarding vehicles can be managed in this module.
Details of User: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, Vehicles details, and booking history can be managed by Admin with this module.

- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Admin can View/Edit/Delete toll pass details into the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel booking done by the User.
- Can manage payments.

- Can issue toll passes to the users.
- Can change rates of passes.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My Profiles”.
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Users can book/cancel toll passes.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
