Vehicle Registration System Project In Spring

It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the primary control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, k g a check on the registration and management of the system. On the other hand, users can register, log in using the login credentials, apply for registering their motor vehicles, apply for a driving license, permits online, etc.

The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.

Vehicle Registration System Abstract

Vehicle registration is the process of registering your vehicle with a government authority. It allows a vehicle owner to be a rightful and legal owner of the vehicle.

Codebun has designed an Online Vehicle Registration Project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two main roles, i.e., Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system, update Charges of the Registration, View/Confirm/Cancel the vehicle registration application by Users, and so on. Admin will manage all the applicants for vehicle registration and their details.

On the other hand, users can register, log in using the login credentials, apply for registering their motor vehicles, apply for a driving license, permits online, etc.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Vehicle Registration System.
  3. It maintains the record of applications and applicants, Users, Payments, registration history, etc.

Modules in Vehicle Registration System

Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel applications, can manage payments, etc.

User Module– In this module, a user can register first using their name, contact number, address, PAN card number, and aadhar card number, and also, can manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number.

Registration Module- In this module after logging in, users can choose the vehicle type and application for the registration, driving license, permit, etc by filling and submitting online application forms available. And, Pay for the confirmed registration.

PaymenModule- In this module, Users will be able to pay the fees required for the registration of their vehicle and other services related to the registration process.

Download Module- In this module, Users will be able to download the vehicle registration certificate, driving license, permit, etc.

Details of User: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, Address, License Number, and Permit Number can be managed by Admin with this module.

User Roles of Vehicle Registration System

Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User

Admin:

  • Can Log in/Log out of the system.
  • Admin can View/Edit/Delete details into the system.
  • Admin can View/Accept/Cancel the application by the User.
  • Can check payments done by User.
  • Can change charges of registration.
  • Can change password.
  • Can manage “My Profile”.

User:

  • Can Log in/Log out of the system.
  • Can Manage “My profile”.
  • Users can apply for registration of vehicles, driving license, and permit.
  • Can download registration certificate, driving license, and permit.
  • Can make Payments online.
  • Can change password.
