Image Editor System Project In Spring
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for updating and maintaining the overall system, Adding/Removing/Updating different editing tools, effects, file formats, managing users, etc. Admin can configure the quality, bit rate, format, etc of the image. Whereas users can log in and edit the image.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Image Editor System Abstract
An Image Editor is a software application that allows the editing of image files. It allows you to edit an image and process files quickly and efficiently.
For this, Codebun has developed the Image Editor System that has two main roles i.e. Admin & User. Admin being the primary user, can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system. Admin can Add/Remove/Update different editing tools. Admin can configure the quality, image format, etc of the Image. Admin can Add/Remove/Update different image file formats.
On the other hand, users will be able to use the Image Editor. Upon accessing the Image Editor, the User will have to upload the original file, choose the desired tools, effects, and edit the image, and download the output file. Users can also manage all the edited images into folders and templates.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Image Editor System.
- Maintain various Image tools.
Modules of Image Editor System
Admin Module- In this module, Admin can manage all the operations related to the system.
User Module- Users can log in/log out of the system and manage their account profile. Users can access the Image Editor.
Edit Module- In this module, Users will be able to edit image files.
Upload Module- All the image file uploading-related operations can be managed in this module.
Download Module- All the image file downloading-related operations can be managed in this module.
Image Repository- Users can manage and save their images in the repository.

Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can Log in/Log out of the system.
- Admin can manage the system.
- Can manage users and their details.
- Admin can manage the editor and editing tools.
- Admin can Add/Remove/Update different editing tools.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My Profiles”.
User:
- Users can log in/log out of the system.
- Users can edit files using the Image Editor.
- Users can upload/download images.
- Users can maintain an image repository.
- Users can change passwords.
- Users can manage “My Profile.”
