Bill Splitting System in java using JSP and Servlet available with the Source Code. This project is available with source code for final-year IT students for college projects.
Bill Splitting System Project in Java
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for the management of the system. Admin can manage users, registration, etc. On the other hand, Users can register, log in using the login credentials, and track their bills while managing daily spending, manage their expenses, etc.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Bill Splitting System Abstract
Managing daily expenses and bills helps to manage savings. Planning monthly spending is one of the effective ways of savings and also helps you keep track of your bills and expenses.
Codebun has designed a Bill Splitting project in java using JSP and Servlet, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to the system, View/Confirm/Cancel registrations done by Users, and so on. Admin can manage User details and also, keep the records of the Users, etc.
Users can register on the portal and create their expense management and tracker account, and manage all their bills and daily spending. Users can organize and split the bills and share the details with friends and family. Users can mention the details regarding the spending and split bills under different tags.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main aim is to build a secured, robust Bill Splitting System.
- It maintains the record of users, bills, expenses & history, etc.
Modules in Bill Splitting System
Admin Module: This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel User registrations request. Admin is responsible for maintaining the database.
User Module: In this module, the User can register on the portal. Once registered, the user can log in/log out of the system. Users can manage their account & profile details.
Registration Module: All users can register on the system with the help of this module.
Bill Splitting Module: Users can manage all of their bills, daily expenses, and split bills.
User Details: Admin will be allowed to manage all the registered users and their details in this module.

- Users can manage their accounts.

- Can track daily expenses.
