Online Flower Shop System designed in Java using JSP and Servlet along with the source code. This project is designed for both third-year and final-year students and is available with source code.
Online Flower Shop System Overview
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system. Admin is the leading role that will handle the overall application. It has multiple modules like Categories of Flowers, Price of Flowers, Details of Buyers, etc. And users can register and do flower shopping online.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Online Flower Shop System Abstract
Business operations can be made easier with an online system. Owning a flower shop is an example of an online business. Using this project, a Flower Shop could be managed without having to maintain manual records for it.
So, Codebun has developed an Online Flower Shop System Project in java. It will help the Admin to monitor Online Flower Shop by managing them from a single place. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to Flowers. Admin can check the availability of a particular Flower and also, can maintain the records of purchases made along with date and time. Admin can categorize flowers accordingly.
On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can log in to the system. Users can shop for flowers online, and make payments online.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the admin.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Flower Shop System.
- It maintains the record of orders, purchases, availability of flowers, and so on.
Modules of Online Flower Shop System
Admin Module– This module will allow Admin to log in and log out of the system and manage the system and its functions.
User Module: This module will allow the user to manage all the operations related to the user like user name, contact details, purchase and payment history, etc.
Registration–This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, and addresses, and set passwords. Then a user can log in/ log out to the system using the registered name and password.
Category: In this module, Flowers can be categorized by Admin accordingly.
Order: This module will allow the user to purchase the Flowers.
Sales & Stocks Module: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of items that have been sold and track all the sales activities. Admin can Add/Remove/Update stocks with the help of this module.
Payment Module: In this module, all the payment-related details can be managed.
User Roles of Online Flower Shop System
Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
- Admin can View/Edit/Delete flowers into the system.
- Can View/Edit/Delete Flower Category into the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel orders placed by User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can change prices of Flowers.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
User:
- Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Flowers.
- Users can Place/Cancel an order.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
