The Camera Gear Rental System project in spring boot and hibernate is configured to computerize the management process of the camera equipment renting. This project is designed for both third-year and final-year students and is available with source code.

Camera Gear Rental System Project in Spring

It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and keeping a check on the availability of camera equipment, updating any details related to the Store, managing payments, etc. On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can log in to the system, rent camera equipment, and make payments online.

The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.

Camera Gear Rental System Abstract

The Camera Gear Rental System is built to support all the functionality related to the process of renting, tracking, booking, and payment. It will allow the business owner to easily manage the renting and tracking of the camera equipment online.

Codebun has designed this Camera Gear Rental System Project in spring boot and hibernate to allow users to rent camera equipment using an online system. Here, there are two main roles in this application. Admin is the primary user, that will add/delete/update camera equipment information. Admin can manage all the rentals and payments for the same. Admin can track all the camera equipment. Admin can categorize camera equipment according to their types.

Users can view the available camera equipment and can rent them. Also, users can check the availability of trucks.

The following are the major objective of this application:
1. To provide a bug-free application.
2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Camera Gear Rental System.
3. It maintains the record of camera equipment, bookings, rents, users, and so on.

Modules of Camera Gear Rental System

Admin: This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE different camera equipment details. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, manage registrations, can check payments, etc.

Registration: This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, and Mail IDs, and set passwords.

User: The user can log in/ log out to the system using the registered name and password. Users can manage their profiles and rental history.

Category: In this module, camera equipment can be categorized by Admin accordingly.

Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether the special camera equipment from a specific category is available for rent.

Rental: All operations related to renting camera equipment can be managed in this module. Users can rent a camera gear of their choice. Users can make an advance booking.

Payment: All operations related to payments done by users can be managed in this module.

User Roles of Camera Gear Rental System

Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User

Admin:

  • Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
  • Admin can View/Edit/Delete camera equipment into the system.
  • Can View/Edit/Delete camera equipment category into the system.
  • Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel the booking by the User.
  • Can check payments done by User.
  • Can change charges of camera equipment.
  • Can change password.
  • Can manage “My Profiles”.

User:

  • Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
  • Can Manage “My Profile”.
  • Can search for camera equipment.
  • Users can rent camera equipment.
  • Can make payments online.
  • Can change password.
