Grievance  Redressal System Project in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MYSQL. It is designed for both third-year and final-year students for their college projects and is available with source code. This is a web application developed to manage human resource activity through an online medium.

Grievance Redressal System Project in Spring Boot 

This is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin & Employee where Admin will have the main control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the registration, all the activities of employees, management of the system, etc. On the other hand, employees can register themselves, log in using the login credentials, manage profiles, keep a record, and track employee grievances.

The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.

Grievance Redressal System Project Abstract

The grievance Redressal System is an important part of an organization. It will not only help the company to manage its employee grievances and complaints details but also will help to keep transparency among employees.

Codebun has developed a Grievance Redressal System Project in spring boot & hibernate to provide employees a portal to manage all its activity. Here, it is built to support multi-user. Admin is the main user of this application who will view and solve complaints raised by the employees. Admin can Add/Remove/Update employees to the system. Admin can look after employees’ queries and complaints.

Employees can register on the portal using their employee id and other details. Once registered, an employee can log in/log out of the system. Employees can raise complaints regarding any issue and also can track the status of their complaints.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application to the admin and employees.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Grievance Redressal System Project where the information of employees is managed properly.
  3. It maintains the record of employees, and employee’s grievances detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.

Modules of Grievance Redressal System Project

Admin Module- Admin can log in/log out of the system. Admin can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system, manage employees, etc. Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and its databases.

Employee Module- All the operations related to employees can be managed in this module. Employees can log in/log out of the system and manage their profiles.

Registration: This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, and Mail IDs, and set passwords. Then a user can log in to the system using the registered name and password. Also, Users can log out of the system.

Grievances: In this module, employees can raise complaints and describe their grievances..

Track: This module will allow the user to track the raised ticket by them. Users can track the status of the issue they have raised.

User Records: Admin can manage all the user details in this module.

User Roles of Grievance Redressal System Project

There are two roles in this application i.e. Admin and Employees. Let us see the functionality of each

1) Admin

  • Admin can log in/log out of the system.
  • Admin can manage “My Profile”.
  • Admin can View/Add/Update/Delete employee and their complaint details.
  • Can View/Update/Delete employee’s complaint status.

2) Employee

  • Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
  • Can raise and track complaints.
  • Can receive updates for the raised complaints.
  • Can Manage “My profile”.
  • Can change password.
