Hospital Billing System Project In Spring
It is developed for a single user i.e. Admin. Admin will manage the overall application. This web application is developed to manage the activity of Hospitals.
In this application, we have only admin roles that will manage the overall application. Admin can enter details and generate bills for patients. Admin can download bills and invoices for patients.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Hospital Billing System Project Abstract
Maintaining patient billing records can be incredibly time-consuming, it requires a data storage and maintenance system. An online billing system can help hospitals manage patients’ billing processes.
Codebun has designed a Hospital Billing System project in spring boot and hibernate, which has a single primary role, i.e., the Admin. Admin is the primary user. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to the system and keep records of patients’ medical history. Admin can manage all the billing and documentation processes of patients. Patient’s treatment history, lab test reports, billing information, the release of information, progress reports, etc can be managed by the Admin.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the admin.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Hospital Billing System Project where the information of bills is managed properly.
- It maintains the record of billing and patient detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.
Modules of Hospital Billing System
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions.
Medical Record Module- Admin can manage the records of Medical Records in this module. Information like personal details, lab test reports, scans, diagnoses, bills, payment reports, and so on can be managed in this module.
Billing Module: In this module, Admin can generate bills. Admin can generate and download bills and invoices for patients of the Hospital.
Payment Module: All the operations related to payments can be managed in this module.
User Roles of Hospital Billing System
Admin is the main and sole user in this application. Let us see its functionality:
Admin
- Can Log in/Log out of the system.
- Admin can View/Edit/Delete patients’ history and their billing details.
- Admin can track patients’ billing history.
- Admin can generate bills for patients.
- Can download bills and invoices.
- Can check payments.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My Profiles”.
