Online Cake Ordering System in spring boot and hibernate with Source Code. This project is developed to allow a user to order Cake online conveniently. It will simply enable a user to order online for their favorite Cakes hassle-free.
It is designed for both third-year and final-year students and is available with source code.
Online Cake Ordering System Overview
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the orders and management of the system, delivery of Cake to customers, delivery staff, and their availability. On the other hand, Users can register themselves, log in using the login credentials, and order Cake online.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the frontend, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Online Cake Ordering System Abstract
Ordering Cake online might be one of the reasons for happiness for Cake lovers. This online Cake ordering system will allow a user to order a Cake online of their choice.
Codebun has designed an Online Cake Ordering project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can categorize the Cake, add/remove/update any detail of cake available, edit prices of the Cakes, view/confirm/cancel orders placed by users, accept payments online, and so on. Admin can keep all the records of the Users.
Users can add one or more Cakes of their choice to the cart, make payments online and get them delivered to your doorstep. Users will also be able to order a customized Cake i.e. users can choose the types of flavors, toppings, creams, etc of their choice.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Cake Ordering System.
- It maintains the record of Users, Orders, Payments, Purchase history, etc.
Modules in Online Cake Ordering System
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel orders, can manage payments, deliver status, etc.
User Module– In this module, the user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number.
Purchase Module: In this module after logging in, Users can choose their favorite Cake or customize their Cake and then place an order. Pay for the confirmed order and get the Cake delivered to the registered address.
Category: In this module, cakes can be categorized accordingly like- Vegetarian, Non-vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Sugar-free, Price range, etc
Payment Module: In this module, Users can make payments for their orders.
Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether the particular Cake from a specific category is available in stock or not.
Sold Number: In this module, Admin can manage the number of Cakes sold.
Registration Module: A user can register first using their name, contact number, and address and also, can manage their profile Details of a User like a Name, Contact Numbers, and Address can be managed by Admin in this module.
Users Roles
Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can Log in/Log out of the system.
- Admin can View/Edit/Delete Cake categories into the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders placed by the User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can check the availability of Cake in stock.
- Can manage Delivery staff.
- Can change prices of Cake.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My Profiles”.
User:
- Can Log in/Log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Cake in categories.
- Users can Place/Cancel an order.
- Can make Payments online.
- Can change password.
