Online Card Designer Project in Java
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Here, there are two main users in this application. Admin can add/delete/update card templates, categorize templates, etc. Whereas users can create/delete different cards based on the category, download designed cards, etc.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Online Card Designer System Project Abstract
The online card designer card template library includes layouts for thank you cards, birthday cards, holiday cards, best wishes cards, Valentine’s cards, and more. One can choose various occasions and themes as well as colors and styles.
Codebun has developed an Online Card Designer System that has two main roles i.e. Admin & User. Admin being the primary user, can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system. Admin can Add/Remove/Update different card templates and editing tools. Admin can Add/Remove/Update different categories.
On the other hand, users will be able to use the card designer. Upon accessing the card designer, the user can select any card templates based on categories, choose the desired tools, and effects to customize the card, and download the output file. Users can also take out prints of the designed cards.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the admin or users.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Card Designer System Project where the information on different card designs is managed properly.
- It maintains the record of card designs and templates.
Modules of Online Card Designer System
Admin Module- In this module, Admin can manage all the operations related to the system.
User Module- Users can log in/log out of the system and manage their account profile. Users can access the card designer.
Create Module- In this module, Users will be able to create/customize cards.
Card Templates Module- All the card templates can be managed and categorized in this module.
Download Module- Users can download designed cards.
Print Module- The user can take out the print of the designed cards

- Users can manage “My Profile.”
