Online Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service Booking System Project in Spring
It is a multi-role application project, i.e., Admin and User, where Admin will have primary control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for checking the booking and maintaining Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services and their details. On the other hand, users can register, log in using the login credentials, view and book the Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services, view services, charges, etc.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Online Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service Booking System Abstract
An online booking system allows users to find dry-cleaning and laundry services and get the doorstep pickup and drop-off services.
Hence, Codebun has designed a Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service Booking project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two primary roles, i.e., Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to the system, update charges & fees of the Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services, View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders placed by Users, and so on. Admin can manage & keep the records of the Users and their details.
Admin will be able to update Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service providers and their details. Users can register and then book the Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services, make payments, etc. Users can find detailed information about the Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service providers, and prices on the system after logging in.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services Booking System.
- It maintains the record of Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services and its providers, Users, Payments, Bookings & history, etc.
Modules in Online Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service Booking System
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, manage Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service providers, payments, users, etc.
User Module– In this module, a user can register first using their name, contact number, and address and also, can manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number. Users can view their booked Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services, payment status, history, etc.
Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service Module- Admin will be able to update Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service providers and their details.
Booking Module- Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services booking-related operations will be managed in this module. Users can book Dry-cleaning & Laundry Services in this module.
Payment Module- Users can make payments for the services provided in this module.
Availability- In this module, the admin can check whether the Dry-cleaning & Laundry Service provider is available or not.
User Details- In this module, the admin will manage User details like a Name, Contact Number, and Booking history.
