Online Medicine Store System project in spring and hibernate
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system. Admin is the main role that will handle the overall application. Admin will be responsible for Adding/Removing/Updating medicine details in the system.
This web application is developed to manage online medicine shops using an online automated system. It will help the store owner to track the medicine and inventory detail.
Whereas Users can shop for required medicines, makes payments online, etc.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Online Medicine Store System Abstract
The online medicine Store System project replaces the manual process of handling medicine stores with an automated system. Here, it will help to remove human errors like entering wrong data of medicine, inventory details, etc.
Therefore, we on Codebun have developed the Online Medicine Store System Project in spring boot & hibernate to overcome human error and have a single application where all the activities of the online medicine store are managed properly. Admin will handle the whole application from adding the medicine to adding billing details. Admin can assign every product a specific code to avoid blunders.
Admin can manage the customer details, payments, stock availability, stock details, and supplier details. Admin can track the sales activity and also, the growth of the business.
On the other hand, Users can buy medicine online. Users can shop for required medicines and also, upload prescriptions as and when necessary. Users can make payments online after successfully placing an order and getting the medicines delivered to the doorstep.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the admin.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Medicine Store System Project where the information is managed properly.
- It maintains the record of the medicine, users, and sales details efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.
Modules of Online Medicine Store System
Admin Module: This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can Add/Remove/Update medicines, manage medicines categories, details, and availability, can manage users, payments, etc.
Admin can add/remove stocks. Admin can track the sales activity and also, the growth of the store.
User Module– The user can log in/log out of the system. Users can search for medicines, view different medicines available, and can find detailed information on the system after logging in.
Order Module- Users can order medicines online. All the order-related operations can be managed in this module.
Category: In this module, medicines can be categorized accordingly.
Stock Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether medicines from a specific category are available in stock or not. Admin can Add/Remove/Update stocks with the help of this module.
Details of User: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, and Purchase history can be managed with this module.
Sales Module: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of items that have been sold.
Payment Module: All the payment-related operations can be managed in this module.
