Online Notice Board Project in Java using JSP, Servlet, and MYSQL. This is a mini project develop for computer science students with both project reports and source code.

This is a web application develop to allow students to get notices online. In this application, there are two users one is the admin and another one is the student. Admin will manage the whole application of adding notice, removing it, and etc. Another role is that of a student who will view all these notices online.

This Project has all the necessary functionality from adding, deleting, managing notices information from the system. It is developed to support all roles, i.e admin & students.

This project is develop using MVC architecture (MVC i.e Model, View, and Controller). At the view layer, we are using JSPs that will generate dynamic web pages, while business logic is done on the model side, and at last, the controller is used to handle request and response objects. We have used the JDBC at the data access layer.

In an educational institute, notices are circulated using the manual process. What if the organization has an application where notices can be made available online. Students just need to register over the application and can view all the latest notice.

Here, Admin is the main user of this application who will add a notice, maintain it, view comments, and so on. A student is another module who will view the notices, add comments, and etc.

This application has two major roles i.e Admin and Student. Let us see their functionality

1) Admin

• Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE New course.
• Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE type of notice.
• It can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE notice details.
• Admin can VIEW all the comments by the students.
• It can VIEW all the list of students registered.

2) Students

• Students can VIEW all the notices.
• Students can comment on the notice.
• It can VIEW other students’ comments.

NOTE: The profile section, log-in, and change password features are also present in the system.
