Online Old Bike Market System Project In Java
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the availability of old Bikes, updating any details related to the Bike Market, managing payments, etc. On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can log in to the system to do online shopping and make payments online.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Online Old Bike Market System Abstract
An online market of old used Bikes where one can buy old used bikes at affordable prices. Buying second-hand products online is an excellent way of saving money. This system simply enables you to buy second-hand bikes through an online medium.
Codebun has designed an Online Old Bike Market project in java using JSP and Servlet, which has two primary roles, i.e., Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can categorize the Old Bikes according to their brands and model numbers, add/remove/update any Bike details, edit prices, view/confirm/cancel bookings done by users, accept payments online, and so on.
Admin can keep all the records of the Users. Users can add a Bike of their choice to the Bike, make payments online, and get it delivered to their doorstep.
The following are the major objective of this application:

- It maintains the record of Old Bikes, Users, Payments, Purchases history, etc.
Modules in Online Old Bike Market System
Admin: This module will allow Admin to log in and log out of the system and manage the system and its functions.
User: The user can log in/ log out to the system using the registered name and password. Users can manage their profiles and purchase history.
Category: In this module, bike categories, according to brand names, price range, models, mileage, fuel types, etc.
Registration: This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, Mail ids, and set passwords.
Booking: This module is responsible for managing all booking-related functions.
Availability: Admin can check whether the particular Bike from a specific category is available or not.
Payment Module: This module is responsible for managing all payment-related operations.
Sales: Admin can keep records of the number of Bikes sold.
User Roles of Online Old Bike Market System
Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
- Admin can View/Edit/Delete Used Bikes into the system.
- Can View/Edit/Delete Bike-Category into the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel orders placed by User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can change prices of Bikes.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
User:
- Can Log In/Log Out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Bike Categories.
- Can search for specific used Bikes using their brand names, models, etc.
- Users can Place/Cancel an order.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
