Online Old Car Store System in Java using JSP and Servlet with Source Code. This project is designed to automate the process of an Old Car Store thereby, easing the process of managing and keeping records of every detail related to the store.

Online Old Car Store System Overview

It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the availability of old cars, updating any details related to the Car Store, managing payments, etc. On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can log in to the system to do online shopping and make payments online.

The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.

Online Old Car Store System Abstract

Buying second-hand products online is a great way of saving money. Besides being pocket-friendly, it supports the environment too by reducing consumption of resources, pollution, and manufacturing cost. The market is flooded with different brands of cars. In this digital era, one will opt for online shopping as it is the most feasible option that saves time and helps you make the right choices. Why not have an online market of used old cars.

Codebun has designed an Online Old Car Store project in java, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can categorize the Old Cars according to their brands and model numbers, add/remove/update any car details, edit prices of the cars, view/confirm/cancel bookings done by users, accept payments online, and so on.

Admin can keep all the records of the Users. Users can add a car of their choice to the cart, make payments online and get it delivered to their doorstep.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Old Car Store System.
  3. It maintains the record of Old Cars, Users, Payments, Purchase history, etc.

Modules in Online Old Car Store System

Admin: This module will allow Admin to log in and log out of the system and manage the system and its functions.

User: The user can log in/ log out to the system using the registered name and password. Users can manage their profiles and purchase history.

Category: In this module, Cars can be categorized by Admin according to their brand names, price range, models, mileage, fuel types, etc.

Registration: This module will allow users to first register into the system using their names, contact numbers, and Mail IDs, and set passwords.

Booking: All the booking-related operations can be managed in this module.

Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether the particular Car from a specific category is available or not.

Payment Module: All the payment-related operations can be managed in this module.

Sales: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of Cars sold.
