The Online Tailor Booking System project is designed in Java using JSP and Servlet along with the source code for students who are pursuing degrees in the IT field.
Online Tailor Booking System Project in Java
It is a multi-role application project, i.e., Admin and User, where Admin will have primary control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for checking the booking and maintaining Tailors and their details. On the other hand, users can register, log in using the login credentials, view and book the Tailor, view services, charges, etc.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Online Tailor Booking System Abstract
An online Tailor booking system makes sure users can book tailoring services online. Instead of wandering places to find them, one can book them online at their convenience.
Hence, Codebun has designed a Tailor Booking project in java, which has two primary roles, i.e., Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to the system, update charges & fees of the Tailors, and other services, View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders placed by Users, and so on. Admin can manage & keep the records of the Users and their details.
Admin will be able to update Tailors and their details. Users can register and then book the Tailors and their services, make payments, etc. Users can find detailed information about the Tailors, and prices on the system after logging in.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Tailor Booking System.
- It maintains the record of Tailors, Users, Payments, Bookings & history, etc.
Modules in Online Tailor Booking System
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, manage Tailors, payments, users, etc.
User Module– In this module, a user can register first using their name, contact number, and address and also, can manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number. Users can view their booked Tailor, payment status, history, etc.
Tailor Module- Admin will be able to update Tailors and their details.
Booking Module- Tailor booking-related operations will be managed in this module. Users can book Tailors in this module.
Search Module- user will be able to search for a Tailor.
Payment Module- Users can make payments for the services provided in this module.
Availability- In this module, the admin can check whether the Tailor is available or not.
Details of User- In this module, the admin will manage User details like a Name, Contact Number, and Booking history.
