Paying Guest Rental System In Spring Boot And Hibernate With Source Code

The Paying Guest Rental system is designed in spring boot and hibernate. The project is available with source code for 2nd/3rd/final year IT students for their college projects.

This project is designed to automate the process of booking and renting a room as a paying guest and managing the whole process online.

Paying Guest Rental System Overview

It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for managing the bookings and the system. On the other hand, Users can register themselves, log in using the login credentials, view and rent the room, view booking charges, rates, facilities, etc.

The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.

Paying Guest Rental System Abstract

Online bookings and reservations have seen exponential growth in the last few years. Everything from booking tickets to venues is done online. So, why not have a Paying Guest Booking system. Instead of wandering places to find a better place for accommodation, one can book it online at their convenience.

To make the process of online booking hassle-free, Codebun has designed a Paying Guest Rental project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system, update PG charges of the place, View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders placed by Users, and so on.

Admin can manage and keep the records of the Users and can list down and categorize the places area-wise, city-wise, and state-wise available for PGs based on the number of guests, facility, and other features.

Users can register themselves and then do the booking, explore the place, make payments online for advance bookings, etc. Users can find detailed information about the pg & packages on the system after logging in.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust PG Rental System.
  3. It maintains the record of PGs, Users, Payments, Bookings & history, etc.

Modules in PG Rental System

Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, manage pg, payments, users, etc.

User Module– In this module, a user can register first using their name, contact number, and address and also, can manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number. Users can view their booked pg, payment status, history, etc.

Booking Module- In this module, Users can rent the PG and do the booking in advance.

Search Module- The user will be able to search a PG in their interested area/city. Detailed information will be mentioned on the page related to the searched pg.

Category- In this module, Admin can categorize PG accordingly. Basic facilities of PGs like food, electricity, water, beds, air-conditioning, wifi connections, and other necessary stuff, etc can be mentioned in this module category-wise.

Payment Module- In this module, Users can make payments for the advance bookings and for the services provided.

Availability- In this module, Admin can check whether the particular pg is available or not.

Details of User- Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, Address, and booking history can be managed by Admin with this module.
