Police Station Management Project In Java Using JSP And Servlet available with the Source Code. This project is designed to manage Police stations using an online system.
The Police Station Management project is available with source code for final year IT students for their college projects.
Police Station Management System Overview
It is a single-role application project i.e. Admin, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and its database. Managing the staff, complaint registrations, criminal records, prisoners records, etc. Having an online system to manage a police station will result in a reduction in paperwork and will save time.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Police Station Management System Abstract
A police station accommodates police officers and other members of staff. These buildings often contain offices and accommodation for personnel and vehicles, and temporary holding cells. Ample work is attached to a police station, which means a lot of information is needed to be stored, for that data storage and maintenance system is required.
Codebun has designed a Police Management project in java, which has a single main role i.e Admin. Admin being the primary user. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to the system, and keep the records of the criminals, complaints, staff, etc. Admin will be able to keep a track of their staff’s attendance and work progress reports.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Police Station Management System.
- It maintains the record of its staff and criminals, complaints, etc.
Modules in Police Station Management System
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can manage attendance of staff. Admin can maintain criminal records, prisoners record, complaints, and FIR records
Staff Module- In this module, Admin can manage staff members of a police station, their attendance, and other details.
Criminal Record Module- Admin can manage the records of criminals in this module.
Prisoner Record Module- Every detail related to the prisoners and the cases can be managed in this module.
Complaint Module- Any detail related to the complaint registered can be managed in this module by the Admin.
Users Roles
Admin:
- Can Log in/Log out of the system.
- Admin can manage criminal records in the system.
- Can manage staff and their attendance, and check their availability.
- Can manage prisoner records.
- Can manage registered complaints.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My Profiles”.
