Seeds Management Project in spring boot and hibernate with Source Code. This project is developed as a major project for computer science students with both source code and project reports available.
The Seeds Management system is built to support all the functionality related to the process of buying, selling, tracking sales, and managing. We will discuss each aspect of this project in detail for enhanced understanding.
Seeds Management Project Overview
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and Buyer, where Admin will have the main control over the system. Admin is the main role that will handle the overall application. This application is developed to manage all the activities of managing seeds information and selling seeds in a single place.
Admin is the main user who will add all the information about seeds as well as sell them using this application. Another user is the buyers who will read about the seeds and can purchase them.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Seeds Management Project Abstract
Seeds management is an implementation of ordering, storing, tracking, and controlling. Here, all the buyers can know which seeds to buy and they can be well versed with the latest information on seeds.
So, we on Codebun have developed Seed Management System Project in spring boot & hibernate to allow Users to order seeds online. Here, there are multiple users in this system. Admin will add/ remove/manage seeds, etc. Users just need to login into the system and shop online. This is a web application to allow seed shop owners to keep a track of sales.
This project allows for the management of all the seeds’ information along with selling them to buyers. In this application, farmers or buyers can register can make the best use of the application by buying seeds online, getting detailed information about different seeds, and so on.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the admin and buyers.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Seeds Management system where all seeds detail are managed properly.
- It maintains the record of seeds, transaction detail, and buyer detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.
Modules of Seeds Management System
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel orders, manage seeds/seed categories, seeds details, and availability, manage users, payments, etc.
Admin can categorize products accordingly. Admin can mention details of each product properly while maintaining categories. Admin can check whether the particular product is available in stock or not.
Buyers Module– In this module, a Buyer can register first using their name, contact number, and address and can manage their profile. The buyer’s module will allow users to log in to the system using their login id and password.
Buyers Detail Module– Details of Buyers like a Name, Contact Number, Address, Order history, and payments can be managed by Admin in this module.
Search Module- Product searching operations by the buyers will be managed in this module. Buyers can also see if seeds from a particular category are in stock or not.
Order Module- In this module, Buyers can place an order.
Category- In this module, Admin can categorize seeds accordingly. Admin can mention details of each product properly while maintaining categories.
Payment Module- In this module, payment-related operations can be managed.
Availability- In this module, Admin can check whether the particular product is available in stock or not.
User Roles of Seeds Management System
There are two main roles in this application.
Admin:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Admin can view/edit/delete seeds into the system.
- Can view/edit/delete seeds Category into the system.
- Admin can view/confirm/cancel orders placed by User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can change prices of seeds.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
Buyer:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for seeds from specific Categories.
- Users can find detailed information about seeds.
- Users can place/cancel an order.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
NOTE: The profile section, log-in, and registration features are common to all users in the system.
