The Online Stock trading Management System project is developed in spring boot and hibernate. It is designed for both third-year and final-year students for their college projects and is available with source code. Stock Management enables businesses to track and manage stocks, sales, and services.
SMS is built to support all the functionality related to the process of ordering, storing, tracking, and controlling inventory. We will discuss each aspect of this project in detail for enhanced understanding.
Stock Trading Management Project in Spring boot
The Stock management system project is run by a single user i.e. Admin. Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the products and management of the system, can add/remove/update products from lists, categorize products, check availability of products, customer details, sales details, stock details, supplier details, etc.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the frontend, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Stock Management System Abstract
Stock management is an implementation of ordering, storing, tracking, and controlling inventory. Stock management applies to every item a business uses- from raw materials to finished goods for producing goods & services. Appropriate stock management is when a business has full knowledge of every product type in the warehouse. In turn, this helps the business owner keep track of the sales, and profitability of a business and make decisions about the future of the business.
Codebun has designed a Stocks Management project in spring boot and hibernate, which has one main role i.e. Admin. Admin is the primary user. Admin can Add/Remove/Update any stock-related details of products and raw materials like product stocks, category, and type of products, descriptions, update prices of the products, can categorize, raw materials, and maintain product databases.
Admin can assign every product a specific code to avoid blunders from happening.
Admin can manage the customer details, payments, stock availability, stock details, stock entry, payments, stock sales payments, and supplier details.
Admin can create multiple accounts for managing product stocks for different categories of products. Admin can track the sales activity and also, the growth of the business.

Modules in Stock Management System
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can Add/Remove/Update products, manage products/product categories, details, and availability, can manage users, payments, etc.
Admin can add/remove stocks. Admin can track the sales activity and also, the growth of the business.
Category: In this module, products can be categorized accordingly.
Stock Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether the particular product from a specific category is available in stock or not. Admin can Add/Remove/Update stocks with the help of this module.
Details of User: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, and Purchase history can be managed with this module.
Supplier Details: All the operations related to suppliers can be managed in this module.
Sold Quantity: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of items that have been sold.
