Timetable Management System In Spring Boot And Hibernate With Source Code

Timetable Management System in spring boot and hibernate. It is designed for both third-year and final-year students for their college projects and is available with source code.

Timetable Management System in Spring and hibernate

It is a multi-role application i.e. Admin, Students, and Teacher where Admin has the main control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on Teacher members and students section whereas, students can view the timetables created for their classes and studies, get information about class timing, subjects, upcoming/ongoing exams, etc, and Teacher can register themselves and create and manage student’s timetables, conduct exams, and tests, maintain students records, etc.

The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.

Timetable Management System Abstract

In every educational institute, teachers have to plan, create, and manage timetables for students’ academic years. Teachers have a lot of pressure of handling classes, exams, studies, assignments, homework, and extracurricular activities. The timetable management system will help teachers to utilize time wisely and at the same time will take some burden off their shoulders. It also ensures classes are scheduled properly and each class is assisted by a single teacher at a time for a particular period.

Codebun has designed this project in spring boot & hibernate to help manage timetables from a single place, where the admin controls the overall system. Admin can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system. Admin will be responsible for maintaining student & Teacher member databases.

The teacher can create and manage students’ timetables, maintain students’ records, schedule, or conduct exams. The teacher can upload, check and approve the assignments. The teacher can view/upload timetables for students.

Students can view the timetables created for their classes and studies, and get information about class timing, duration of periods, subjects, upcoming/ongoing exams, assignments, homework, etc. Students see the Teacher allotted to them for each and every subject.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Timetable Management System.
  3. It maintains the record of the timetable, students, Teacher, results, subjects, and so on.
