Venue Booking System In Spring Boot and Hibernate With Source Code

The Venue Booking System project in spring boot & hibernate. It is available along with the source code for the students who are pursuing degrees in the IT field. This project is designed to automate the process of booking a venue for any event.

VBS is built to support all the functionality related to the process of booking a venue for small as well as large scales gatherings. We will discuss each aspect of this project in detail for enhanced understanding.

Venue Booking System Overview

It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for keeping a check on the booking of venues, maintaining venues and their details, and management of the system. On the other hand, Users can register themselves, log in using the login credentials, view and book the venue, view packages, and plans, etc.

The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the frontend, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.

Venue Booking System Abstract

When organizing an event, you’re bound to make several decisions, but finding the right venue and location is the one decision that will have the largest impact on your event. Everything from the type of event, location, date of the event, catering options, and guests depend on the event venue and location you select.

Considering all the factors while booking a perfect venue, the main advantage of online booking is that it allows you to book the venue any time of day or night at your convenience while offering several options of venues to choose from. It also allows booking the venue in advance.

In order to make the whole process a little less complicated, Codebun has designed a Venue Booking project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to the system, update charges & fees of the venues, and other services, View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders placed by Users, and so on. Admin can manage & keep the records of the Users and their details.

Admin will be able to update venues and categorize them accordingly to occasions or event types, locations, Capacity, budget, facilities available, etc.

Users can register themselves and then book the venues for the event, explore the venues, make payments, etc. Users can find detailed information about the venues, location of the venue, prices & packages on the system after logging in.

Users can contact the venue managers directly to find more details and schedule a visit to the short-listed venues and book appointments.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Venue Booking System.
  3. It maintains the record of Venues, Users, Payments, Bookings & history, etc.
