Sales and Invoice Management System Overview
It is a single-role application i.e. Admin. Admin is the main role that will handle the overall application. This is a web application developed to manage the sale & invoices of small and big stores. Admin will add the products, and sales, generate invoices, view order & payment history, etc.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Sales and Invoice Management System Abstract
The sales and invoice management system allow a business owner to track, manage, and generate sales & invoice reports, assisting in managing the operations related to billings with more accuracy.
Therefore, we on Codebun have developed a Sales and Invoice Management System in spring boot & hibernate to automate the manual process of adding sales & invoice details. This application has a single user i.e. Admin who will manage the overall application. This web application is developed to manage the sales and invoice activity of any business store or shop. The important objective is to have an application where the shop owner can add products, manage sales records, and manage invoices & billing systems.
Admin can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system, generate bills & invoices for the users, and so on.
The following are the primary objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the admin.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Sales and Invoice Management Project where the information is managed properly.
- It maintains the record of products, and customers’ invoice detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.
Modules of Sales and Invoice Management Project
Admin Module: This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can Add/Remove/Update products, manage product categories, details, and availability, can manage users, payments, etc.
Admin can add/remove stocks. Admin can track the sales activity and also, the growth of the store.
Sales Records: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the sales. Admin can View/Generate/Track sales reports with the help of this module.
Invoice Module: All invoice-related operations can be performed in this module.
Payment Module: All the payment-related operations can be managed in this module.
Category: In this module, products can be categorized accordingly.
Stock: In this module, Admin can check product availability. Admin can Add/Remove/Update stocks with the help of this module.
User Details: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, and Purchase history can be managed with this module.
