The Online Lawyer Consultation designed project is in spring boot and hibernate and is available along with the source code for students who are pursuing degrees in the IT field.

It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for keeping a check on the booking of appointments/consultations, scheduling meetings, and management of the system. On the other hand, users can register, log in using the login credentials, search for Lawyers for their specific concerns, book an appointment, and make payments online after successful consultation with the Lawyer.
Admin is responsible for managing the availability of Lawyers, viewing/confirming/Canceling appointments, and maintaining a database.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Online Lawyer Consultation Project Abstract
Having an online system to book consultation appointments with lawyers eliminates the trouble of visiting in actuality to get an appointment whilst saving time. The Online Lawyer Consultation system will help to find the Lawyer in their nearby area with complete details of each Lawyer.
Codebun has designed an Online Lawyer Consultation project in spring boot & hibernate, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system, update fees & appointments, and other services, View/Confirm/Cancel appointment booking done by Users, and so on. Admin can manage Lawyers’ details and also, keep the records of the Users, etc.
Users can register on the system, find Lawyers according to their concerns, and then fix an appointment with a suitable Lawyer. Users can find detailed information about the Lawyers & fees on the system after logging in.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Lawyer Consultation System.
- It maintains the record of Lawyers, Payments, appointments & history, etc.
Modules in Online Lawyer Consultation System
Admin Module: This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel appointments, manage Lawyers, and can check payments, etc. Admin is responsible for keeping track of Lawyers and maintaining a database. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel rescheduled appointments for Users.
User Module: In this module, the User can register. Once registered, the user can log in/log out of the system. Users can manage their profiles.
Registration Module: In this module, the User can register on the portal with the help of this module.
Lawyer Module: In this module, Lawyers can be categorized by Admin according to their specialty. Admin can manage details of all the Lawyers and their fees and other details.
Appointment Booking Module: Users can find Lawyers according to their concerns. Detailed information about each and every Lawyer will be available in this module. Users can book a consultation appointment with a Lawyer with the help of this module. In this module, Users can clearly check the availability of Lawyers and make an appointment accordingly.
Payment Module: The User can make payments online in this module.
User Details: In this module, Admin will be able to keep the records of Users.

Admin:
- Can Log in/Log out of the system.
- Admin can manage Lawyers in the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel appointments done by the User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can manage and check the availability of Lawyers for users.
- Can change consultation fees and other fees of Lawyers
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My Profiles”.
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Lawyers.
- Users can book/cancel an appointment.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
