Cargo Management System Project in Java using JSP, Servlet, and MYSQL. This is a mini project for computer science students with both source code and project report.

This is a web application develop to allow companies to have a cargo management system where they can track, store information of cargo. In this application, there are two users such as Admin and customers.  Admin can add the payment for cargo, update tracking details, and etc. Here, customers can add senders and receiver detail.

This Project has all the necessary functionality from adding, deleting, managing the cargo information from the system. It is develop to support all roles, i.e admin & customers.

The whole project is develop using MVC architecture (MVC i.e Model, View, and Controller). At the view layer, we are using JSPs that will generate dynamic web pages, while business logic is done on the model side, and at last, the controller is used to handle request and response objects. We have used the JDBC at the data access layer.

Cargo Management System Project in Java

In this digital era, there should be an online cargo management system where the shipments are managed online without a manual approach. All things like adding cargo types, tracking shipment would be done online.

Therefore, we on Codebun have develop Cargo Management System Project in Java to allow customers to add shipments and track them. Here, there are two main users. Admin is the main user who will update the cargo tracking from time to time. Customers will add new cargo and will track it.

The following are the major objective of this application:

1. To provide a bug-free application to the admin and customers.
2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Cargo Management System  Project where the information of cargo’ s is managed properly.
3. It maintains the record of the cargo, the customer detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.

Modules and Functionalities of Cargo Management System

This application has two major roles i.e Admin and Customers. Let us see their functionality

1) Admin

• Admin can VIEW all the shipment details.
• Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE cargo types.
• It can update the tracking status.
• It can VIEW all the payments done by the customers.
• Admin can VIEW all the list of customers.

2) Customers

• Customers can add sender and receiver details.
• Customers can select cargo types.
• It can VIEW the status of the shipment using tracker Id.
• It can make the payment online.

NOTE: The profile section, log-in, and change password features are also present in the system.
