Cricket Ground Booking System Project in Spring Boot and Hibernate. This is a web application developed to book cricket grounds or stadiums using an online medium.

It is built to support all the functionality related to managing an online cricket ground booking portal. We will discuss each aspect of this project in detail for enhanced understanding.

Cricket Ground Booking System Overview

In this application, there are two main roles i.e. admin and the users. Admin will have the authority to add ground details to the system. Users can book grounds online.

This Project has all the necessary functionality from adding, and deleting ground information from the system. It is developed to support all roles, i.e. admin & users.

The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the frontend, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.

Cricket Ground Booking System Abstract

Online booking has seen tremendous demand in the last few years. Everything from ticket to bus, booking is done online. So why not have a Cricket ground Booking system. It would help the players to see the grounds available and can book them easily. Instead of traveling to a particular place, players can book it at their convenience.

Codebun has developed Cricket Ground Booking Project in spring boot and hibernate to allow users to book grounds online. This application allows the admin role to add grounds, and view payment history. And, the users can book grounds online.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application to the admin and users.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Cricket Ground Booking System Project where the information of grounds is managed properly.
  3. It maintains the record of grounds, and the users booking detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.

Modules in Cricket Ground Booking System

Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, manage cricket grounds, payments, users, etc.

User Module– In this module, a user can register first using their name, contact number, and address and also, can manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number. Users can view their booked Cricket ground, payment status, history, etc.

Booking Module- Cricket ground booking-related operations will be managed in this module. Users can book cricket grounds in this module.

Search Module- The user will be able to search the cricket ground. Detailed information will be mentioned on the page related to the searched cricket ground. Users will be able to filter out cricket grounds based on area, locations, prices, capacity, etc.

Payment Module- In this module, Users can make payments for the services provided.

Availability- In this module, Admin can check whether the particular cricket ground is available or not.

Details of User- Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, Address, and booking history can be managed by Admin with this module

User Roles of Cricket Ground Booking System

This application has two major roles i.e. Admin and Users. Let us see their functionality

1) Admin

  • Admin can VIEW the list of users.
  • Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE ground details.
  • It can manage ground price and its timing.
  • Admin can VIEW Bookings.

2) Users

  • Users can VIEW available grounds.
  • Users can book the ground.
  • It can VIEW the booking history.
  • Users can make payments online.

NOTE: The profile section, log-in, and change password features are also present in the system.
