Diet Planner System Project In Java

It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for updating and maintaining the overall system, Adding/Removing/Updating different styles, effects, file formats, managing users, etc. In contrast, users can plan their diet routine, etc, and maintain it all in the diet planner. Users can create lists of their daily plans and routines.

The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.

Diet Planner System Abstract

Planning a diet is more important than exercise for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Having everything in one place can ease the process of following or maintaining a routine. A diet plan can help to maintain that balance. Here, a diet planner will allow you to build that routine and maintain it.

Codebun has designed a Diet Planner project in java, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to the system, and so on. Admin can keep the records of the Users.

In contrast, Users can register and access the diet planner. Users can find detailed information about diet plans on the system after logging in. Users can set fitness goals and can input information about the activities and the food consumed. User can track their food intake, calorie count, etc. Users can use different styling features while creating diet plans.

The following are the major objective of this application:

  1. To provide a bug-free application.
  2. The main objective is to build a secured, robust Diet Planner System.
  3. It maintains the record of Users, etc.

Modules in Diet Planner System

Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions.

User Module– In this module, a user can register first using their name, contact number, and address and also, can manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number.

Diet Planner Module- In this module, users can set their diet plans. Users can set a fitness goal and can input information about the activities and the food consumed. User can track their food intake, calorie count, etc.

Registration Module- All the image registration-related operations can be managed in this module.

Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User

Admin:

  • Can Log in/Log out of the system.
  • Admin can manage the system.
  • Can manage users and their details.
  • Admin can Add/Remove/Update different features.
  • Can change password.
  • Can manage “My Profiles”.

 User:

  • Users can log in/log out of the system.
  • Users can maintain diet plans.
  • Can track food intake and calories.
  • Users can change passwords.
  • Users can manage “My Profile.”
