Work Panda is a web application developed in Spring Boot and Hibernate. Another project in Spring boot and hibernate with source code and project. Hotel Reception Management is built to manage receptionist day to day activities.
Work Panda is developed to manage reception-related activity by a web application where the admin is a user who can add employees, add guests and etc.
This project has all the necessary functionality that a Hotel Reception Management application should have. It is built to support the receptionist role. MVC pattern (MVC i.e Model, View, and Controller) is used here to design the whole project. It using Spring boot to manage the services layer and HTML and bootstrap with JSP to manage the front end of the application.

Work Panda is a web application that provides a solution that will help the Staff or Receptionist of the Hotel to manage all the activity from a single platform. It can act as an ERP application for the Organization. It will help the receptionist as well as staff to perform day-to-day activities seamlessly.
So, we on Codebun have developed a Hotel Reception Management(Work Panda) Web application where we have one role called Admin, whose responsibility is to add Booking, add Rooms, add check-ins, and check-outs of guests, VIPs, and so on.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the Receptionist (Admin).
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Hotel Reception Management system.
- It maintains the record of the Hotel’s employees, guest check-ins, and check-outs, Booking efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.
Modules and Functionalities as per user roles
There is only one role in this application. Admin who is the main and sole user of this application. Now, let us the responsibility.
Admin
- Admin can ADD/VIEW Bookings.
- Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Guest/VIP.
- Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Room type.
- Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Floor.
- Admin can check Order/Payment for a particular guest.
- Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Price.
- Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Paid Service.
- Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Staff or Employee of the Hotel.
- Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE Department.
NOTE: The profile section, log-in, and change password features are also present in this system.
