Online Job portal in Spring and hibernate is a web application. that is using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate to manage the backend of the application.
The job portal application is used to manage available jobs. Also an online platform for the job seeker, So end-user can search the available job applications on the respective jobs. At the same time, the recruiter or HR can view the applications and directly contact the candidates.
Let’s talk in the detail about the modules and the different user roles in the job portal application.
User Roles
Mainly there are 3 types of user that going to connect with the application directly 1) Admin 2) User(Job Seeker) 3) Recruiters(Companies)
Admin(Root User of the application)
- Admin can perform the login in the application.
- Admin can View/Add/Edit/Delete Recruiters(HR of the companies).
- Admin can View/Add/Edit/Delete User (Jobseeker).
- Admin can search for a recruiter or job seeker (User).
End-User(Jobseeker)
- Job Seekers can log in and register to manage their personal profile in the application.
- Job seekers can search for the job as per categories or skills.
- Users can view open jobs and apply for that Job.
- The user can Edit/Update his profile.
- The user can search for jobs according to the company.
Recruiters(Companies)
- Recruiters will be responsible to add new jobs to the application.
- Recruiters can check the list of the user who applied for their job.
- Recruiters can send the interview mail or contact the employee directly by Phone number.
- Recruiters can view the resumes.
