The electronic shop management project is a web application running on a Tomcat local host server. It uses Java as a core technology with Java Server Page (JSP), Servlet, JDBC with MYSQL, Maven, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. 

By using this application customers can view and buy electronic items online. Shop owner admin can manage the customers and products on a simple platform with order history.

It follows MVC architecture, In which the Model handles the database transaction using JDBC and View manages the frontend of the application by using JSP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Controllers manage request and response by using Servlet.

Today, in this digital era, buying and selling online items is growing to the next level. From buying shoes to buying laptops everyone is being dependent on online shopping. There should be an application where customers can easily buy or sell specific products like electronic gadgets.

Online Electronic Shop Project in Java to sell only electronic gadgets online. Here, we have majorly two main roles in the application. One is the Admin whose responsibility is to manage the whole application like adding electronic gadgets, adding categories, view orders, and etc. Another user is the customer who will buy these gadgets using the application.

The following are the major objective of this application:

1. To provide a bug-free application to the admin as well as the customer.
2. The main objective is to build a secure, robust Online Electronic Shop Project where the electronics shop is managed properly.
3. It maintains the record of customers, electronics gadgets, buyers, order detail efficiently so that it would be easy to access at any time 24*7.

Modules and Functionalities of Online Electronic Shop Project

There are two main users of this application. One is the Admin whose responsibility is to manage electronic gadgets and another role is that of the customer who will buy the gadgets available.

1) Admin

• Admin can VIEW the User List.
• Admin can VIEW/ADD/UPDATE/DELETE the available category.
• It can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/ DELETE electronics gadgets detail.
• Admin can VIEW Order details.
• Admin can VIEW payments detail/status of the buyer.

2) Customers

• Customers can VIEW all the categories of electronic products
• Customers can VIEW all the electronics products available irrespective of category.
• It can buy any product from the list.
• Customers can make payments online.
• Customers can VIEW the Order history of its own.

NOTE: The profile section, log-in, and registration features are common to all users in the system.
