Restaurant Management System Project in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MYSQL. This project is designed to automate the process of a Restaurant thereby, easing the process of managing it.
Restaurant Management System Project Overview
The Restaurant management system project is run by a single user i.e. Admin. Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the products and management of the system, can add/remove/update food items from lists, categorize food dishes, check availability of food, customer details, sales details, stock details, etc.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Restaurant Management System Project Abstract
The Restaurant Management System is a web-based application that will be able to handle all the activities of the Restaurant. We need a system to handle product information, billing information, customer details and etc. At the same time, it should be secured.
Therefore, on Codebun has developed the Restaurant Management System Project in Spring Boot to automate the manual process of the Restaurant-related activity. Here, we have a single user called Admin. Admin will add all the food menus & their type, into the system. Also, it will generate bills for the customers.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the products and management of the system, can add/remove/update food items from lists, categorize food dishes, check availability of food, customer details, sales details, stock details, etc. Admin can add/remove/update food menus. Admin can track all the sales activities.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application to the admin.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Restaurant Management System Project where the information of the Restaurant is managed properly.
- It maintains the record of food items & menus, and customer billing detail efficiently to be easy to access at any time 24*7.
Modules of Restaurant Management System
Admin Module– This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can Add/Remove/Update food dishes, manage food categories, details, and availability, can manage customers, payments, etc.
Category: In this module, food items can be categorized accordingly.
Stock Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether food items from a specific category are available or not.
Details of Customers: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, and Purchase history can be managed with this module.
Billing Module: All the billing-related operations can be managed by Admin in this module. Admin can generate bills and invoices.
Sales: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of items that have been sold.
Payment Module: All the operations related to payments can be managed in this module.
User Roles of Restaurant Management System
Admin
- Admin can log in/log out of the system
- Admin can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE type of food.
- Can ADD/VIEW/UPDATE/DELETE food menus & detail.
- Can ADD billing detail for customers.
- Admin can VIEW all the sales details.
- Can VIEW all the payment history.
- Admin can manage “My Profile”.
- Admin can change password.
