Wedding Planner Booking System project in spring boot
It is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for keeping a check on the booking of venues, decorations, planning wedding ceremonies, and catering services. On the other hand, Users can register themselves, log in using the login credentials, view and book wedding planners, view packages, etc.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the front end, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Wedding Planner Booking System Abstract
Managing the whole wedding event can be a hectic process. Wedding planners are professionals, who assist with the planning and management of the wedding. This booking system will allow a user to find a wedding planner and book online.
Codebun has designed a Wedding Planner Booking project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two main roles i.e. Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can add/remove/update any details related to the system, update prices of the wedding plans, venues, and catering services, View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders placed by Users, and so on. Admin can keep the records of the Users.
Users can register themselves and then book wedding planners, make payments, etc. Users can find detailed information about wedding plans on the system after logging in.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Wedding Planner Booking System.
- It maintains the record of Users, Payments, Bookings & history, etc.
Modules in Wedding Planner Booking System Project
Admin Module- This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions. Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel bookings, manage wedding planners, venues, catering services, can check payments, etc.
User Module– In this module, a user can register first using their name, contact number, and address and also manage their profile. The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names & contact number.
Booking Module- In this module, Users can book the wedding planners.
Category- In this module, Admin can categorize wedding planners, wedding plans, packages, etc accordingly.
Payment Module- In this module, Users can make payments for the services provided.
Availability- In this module, Admin can check whether the particular wedding planner is available or not.
Wedding Planner Module- In this module, Admin can manage the wedding planner and its staff. Admin can allot wedding planners to the User who has booked wedding plans and venues for the events.

Admin:
- Can Log in/Log out of the system.
- Admin can manage categories in the system.
- Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel booking orders placed by the User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can manage and check the availability of wedding planners for events.
- Can manage wedding event staff.
- Can change prices of packages for wedding plans.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My Profiles”.
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for a wedding planner.
- Can check wedding plans and packages.
- Users can book wedding planners.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
