This is a multi-role application project i.e. Admin & User where Admin will have the main control over the system.

Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on User & NGO registration, Food donated by users, etc. On the other hand, Users can register, log in using the login credentials, donate Food to NGOs, manage profiles, etc.

The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project is following the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.

Online Food Donation System Abstract

Donating food helps a lot of people who are helpless and cannot afford daily meals. The online food donation system maintains the records of NGOs, donors, and the donations made.

Codebun has designed an Online Food Donation System in java using JSP and Servlet, which has two primary roles, i.e., Admin & User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can Add/Remove/Update any details related to the system, manage Users, NGOs, donations, registration, details of Users & NGOs, etc.

Admin can View/Confirm/Cancel registration requests of Users. Admin can track all the Food donated by Users to the NGOs. Admin will be responsible for managing all the registered NGOs on the system. Accepting/Rejecting donations is the responsibility of the admin.

Users can register on the application and donate Food to one or more NGOs. Users can find detailed information about the NGO on the system.

The following are the major objective of this application:
