The Online Nursery Store System project is designed in Java along with the source code for the students who are pursuing degrees in the IT field. This project helps to make your nursery shopping easy and convenient. It will simply enable a user to shop online for their favorite plants hassle-free.
Online Nursery Store System in Java
It is a double-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the availability of plants, and updating any details related to the Nursery Store. On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can do online shopping.
The whole project is developed using Servlet and JSP. At the front end, we have used HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. At the data access layer, we have used JDBC API. The Database used here is MYSQL. The whole project follows the MVC (Model View & Controller) design pattern.
Online Nursery Store Abstract
Plants and flowers do give completely different vibes. Keeping plants in the house not only makes your home look beautiful but also, helps you with your health. Plants are natural air purifiers, keeping them in your house helps in purifying the air and increasing the oxygen level. Green colors are also soothing for the eyes. There is a variety of plants to choose from for your house.
A project that will simplify the plant choices and also, help shop for favorite plants and get plants delivered to home. It will have several categories of plants like flowering plants, non-flowering plants, cactus, etc. Users will have to first register themselves using their name and contact number and then can make budget-friendly choices out of all the categories available.
Codebun has designed an Online Nursery Store project in java, which has two main roles i.e Admin and User. Admin being the primary user. Admin can categorize the plants, add/remove/update any plants/plant details, edit prices of the plants, view/confirm/cancel orders placed by users, and so on. Admin can keep all the records of the Users. Users can add plants of their choice to the basket, make payments online and get it delivered to your doorstep.

Modules in Online Nursery Store System
Admin Login– This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions.
User Login–The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names and contact number.
Category: In this module, Plants can be categorized accordingly. Example: Flowering category, Non-flowering category, etc.
Name: This module will allow the admin and users to check the plant name.
Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether the particular plant from a specific category is available in stock or not.
Prices Range: Plants of different price ranges can be managed in this module by Admin.
Details of User: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, Address can be managed with this module.
Sold Quantity: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of Plants that have been sold.
Users Roles
Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Admin can view/edit/delete Plants into the system.
- Can view/edit/delete Plant Category into the system
- Admin can view/confirm/cancel orders placed by User.
- Can check payments done by the User.
- Can change prices of plants.
- Can change the password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Plants Categories.
- Can search for a specific Plant using their names.
- Users can place/cancel an order.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change the password.
