The Online Nursery Store System project is designed in spring and hibernate for the students who are pursuing degrees in the IT field and is available along with the source code. This project helps to make your nursery shopping easy and convenient.
Online Nursery Store System in Spring and hibernate
It is a double-role application project i.e. Admin and User, where Admin will have the main control over the system.
Admin will be responsible for maintaining the system and also, keeping a check on the availability of plants, and updating any details related to the Nursery Store. On the other hand, Users can register themselves and can do online shopping.
The overall project is designed using the MVC pattern (MVC i.e. Model, View, and Controller). In the Backend, it is using Spring Boot, at the data access layer the project is using Hibernate Framework, and at the frontend, we are using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The Database used here is MYSQL.
Online Nursery Store Abstract
An online nursery store will simplify the plant choices and also, help shop for favorite plants and get plants delivered home. It will have several categories of plants like flowering plants, non-flowering plants, cactus, etc. Plants are natural air purifiers, keeping them in your house helps in purifying the air and increasing the oxygen level as well as they uplift the aesthetic beauty of the house.
Codebun has designed an Online Nursery Store project in spring boot and hibernate, which has two main roles i.e Admin and User. Admin is the primary user. Admin can categorize the plants, add/remove/update any plants/plant details, edit prices of the plants, view/confirm/cancel orders placed by users, and so on. Admin can keep all the records of the Users.
Users will have to first register themselves using their name and contact number and then can make budget-friendly choices out of all the categories available. Users can add plants of their choice to the basket, make payments online and get it delivered to your doorstep.
The following are the major objective of this application:
- To provide a bug-free application.
- The main objective is to build a secured, robust Online Nursery Store System.
- It maintains the record of Plants, Users, Payments, Purchase history, etc.
Modules in Online Nursery Store System
Admin Login– This module will allow Admin to log in to the system and manage the system and its functions.
User Login–The user module will allow users to log in to the system using their names and contact number.
Category: In this module, Plants can be categorized accordingly. Example: Flowering category, Non-flowering category, etc.
Name: This module will allow the admin and users to check the plant name.
Availability: In this module, Admin can check whether the particular plant from a specific category is available in stock or not.
Prices Range: Plants of different price ranges can be managed in this module by Admin.
Details of User: Details of a User like a Name, Contact Number, and Address can be managed with this module.
Sold Quantity: This module will allow the admin to keep records of the number of Plants that have been sold.
Users Roles
Two users can interact with this application 1) Admin 2) User
Admin:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Admin can view/edit/delete Plants into the system.
- Can view/edit/delete Plant Category into the system
- Admin can view/confirm/cancel orders placed by User.
- Can check payments done by User.
- Can change prices of plants.
- Can change password.
- Can manage “My profiles”.
User:
- Can log in/log out of the system.
- Can Manage “My profile”.
- Can search for Plants Categories.
- Can search for a specific Plant using their names.
- Users can place/cancel an order.
- Can make payments online.
- Can change password.
