Postal Services management project in Java using JSP, Servlet, MYSQL, and Tomcat. Postal service management is a Java web application that will be used to manage postal services.
The main objective of the application is to automate the postal service, where the admin can add the particle details and user can book their parcel online, saving time and money.
This is a Minor project in Java for students or those who are starting to learn advanced Java like JSP servlet. It is the best example of creating a Java web project and using MySQL with Servlet and JSP.
Project Overview
Postal Service is an online web plate from where customers can track the parcels and get an estimated quote of the booking parcel according to the weight and side.
There will be two main actors of the application Admin, who can log in and manage the users, and parcels that are sent by the users. Also, the admin can update the tracking status.
Another user will be a user or customer, the user can register, login and after login user can book the parcel and track the parcel status.
Project Module, Feature and Functionality
Login and Registration
The application has options to log in as an admin or end-user(Customer) and customers can register into the application by filling in their information like username, password, email, contact, etc.
Customer
Customers can log into the application by entering usernames and passwords and adding the products that need to ship also customers can track their orders.
Admin has all the access to manage the user, like Updating the user information or deleting any user and orders.
Product
All the requested products will be stored in the database and the admin and customer can access the product details as per the request and the user role access.
Tracking
Customers can track the order shipping status, also the admin can update the status accordingly.
